Modernize Scenic Acres's existing logo without completely departing from the original style and create a new brand identity with a rich green. Design a simple Squarespace website layout that is easy to navigate using the new font and colour system.

Scenic Acres is a local Calgarian landscaping company specializing in custom landscaping and irrigation services.

New Logo

Scenic Acres Landscaping wanted a traditional look that reflected a trustworthy and reliable business. They decided on a newly drawn mountain for their logo and a serif font word mark - just a slight update from their original logo. We went with a flat silhouette style to keep things clean and easily recognizable.

Colours

From there, we created a brand style guide with all the variations we would use for their website. A new colour palette was made with a deep green, warm and cozy orange, and a light and airy off-white.

We landed on a pairing of the fonts Gibson and Adobe Garamond Pro to get that nice classic feel they were looking for, while keeping it modern.
